This Privacy Policy explains how Presskit (operated by Racket Team Records) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our service.

1. Data We Collect

We collect the following information:

• Account data: email address and password (hashed) when you create an account.
• Release data: the artist name, release title, genre, and description you enter to generate content.
• Generated content: the press packs we produce for you, saved to your account history.
• Usage data: number of generations used, account plan status.
• Payment data: processed by LemonSqueezy. We do not store card details.
• Cookies: session cookies to keep you logged in. No third-party tracking cookies.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the Presskit service.
• To authenticate you and maintain your account.
• To process payments via LemonSqueezy.
• To save your generation history so you can retrieve past release packs.
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset).

We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on AWS infrastructure in the EU. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

4. Third-Party Services

• Supabase — authentication and database.
• LemonSqueezy — payment processing.
• Anthropic / Claude — AI content generation. Your release inputs are sent to the Claude API to generate your pack.
• Google Fonts — typography (may log your IP).

5. Your Rights (UK GDPR)

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Object to or restrict how we process your data.
• Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your login session. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. You can decline cookies in the banner shown on your first visit, though this will prevent you from staying logged in.

8. Children

Presskit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notice.
